A NEW Monbulk business owner has spread her wings, and customers won’t be crying fowl.

TC’s Chicks owner Lauren Hayes sells 100 per cent chemical and hormone free La Ionica chickens, fresh homemade salads, ice creams, lamb souvlaki and beef burgers.

She sources only the highest quality ingredients and uses local suppliers.

“And I have friendly staff, you’re always greeted with a smile,” she said.

Lauren purchased TC’s Chicks through Monbulk Stockdale and Leggo on 20 January this year.

Managing director Neville Trimnell last week welcomed Lauren to the town.

“It’s good to see a local girl prepared to get in there and have a go,” he said.

Lauren revamped the shop with new appliances, furniture and signage.

“It’s been a long and hard process but I’m pleased with the final outcome,” she said.

Lauren has been a qualified chef for 10 years, has worked in several food establishments and catered major events and functions.

She promises customers quick, friendly service and daily specials.

“TC’s can cater for all your needs, whether it’s a quick bite or feeding a hungry family,” Lauren said.

“With a huge variety to choose from, I’m positive we can cater for your needs.”

TC’s Chicks is located a Shop 7, 37 Main Street, Monbulk, and is open 10.30am to 8pm Mondays and 10.30am to 8pm Wednesday to Sunday.

Readers can call Lauren on 9756 7747.
